QA Engineer/Tester

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

1. 3-5 years of experience in testing and automation

2. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for React and Node.js applications.

3. Perform manual testing when necessary, including but not limited to exploratory, integration, system, and regression testing.

4. Collaborate with the development team to understand the application features and functionality for accurate test planning and execution.

5. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.

6. Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and best practices are incorporated into the development process.

7. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and evaluate their potential benefits for our projects.

8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.

9. Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation related to testing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing applications developed in React and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, or similar.
• Experience with testing tools and services like Selenium, Cypress, Postman.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ES6 and later versions.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, RESTful services, and JSON.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
