Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fresher Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended. This role requires keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results.
  
• Identify, document, and report bugs and errors to development teams.
  
• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
  
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements.
  
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  
• Ensure that the application functions as expected across different environments.
  
• Provide feedback and recommendations for software usability improvements.
  
• Maintain documentation of test results and processes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  
• Familiarity with different types of testing (Functional, Regression, Usability, etc.).
  
• Good communication skills to collaborate with teams effectively.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar is a plus.
  
• Understanding of SQL queries and databases is an added advantage.
