Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Aims to deliver the highest quality customer driven software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their engineering teams. They will work in cross-disciplinary teams delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high quality software and showcase excellent interpersonal and communication skill whilst efficiently working across the project life cycle to ensure software operates as intended. This is a leadership level role and will blend both deep domain and technical expertise within a feature team and great passion for coaching and developing people in a player-coach model.

Job Description

• Takes responsibility for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organisation and/or conducts complex analyses on budget progress in other areas while working within established systems.
  Personally meets customer needs related to standard products and services and/or supervises a team of customer advisors.
  Proven experience as a SAP CPI software engineer, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI.
• Strong proficiency in SAP CPI technologies, including Groovy scripting. Strong awareness of System and Integration Security.
• Extensive knowledge of integration technologies and protocols such as SOAP, REST, XML, JSON and XSLT.
• Ability to architect complex solutions, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.
• Strong ability to act as Subject Matter Expert on systems and collaboration with key business customer.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Good awareness of the SAP CPI roadmap and new features.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex business processes and requirements.
• Strong ability to support and mentor junior roles.
• Strong awareness and understanding of database design and manipulation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• SAP CPI certifications and experience with agile development methodologies are preferred.
