About the Job :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Talend to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with Talend's Big Data platform, focused on optimizing ETL processes, and experienced in handling various data storage solutions.

This role requires proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL, familiarity with cloud environments, and expertise in performance tuning for efficient data processing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work extensively with the Talend Big Data platform to design, develop, and optimize ETL processes.

- Build data mappings, sessions, and workflows in Talend to support robust data integration processes.

- Develop efficient SQL or PL/SQL scripts for querying and data manipulation.

- Perform performance tuning of ETL processes to ensure optimal data handling and storage.

- Design and implement data solutions using Teradata, Vertica, Snowflake, and Redshift.

- Integrate APIs using Talend for seamless data operations.

- Leverage AWS services like AWS S3, AWS Kinesis, and AWS DMS to support data storage and transfer solutions.

- Utilize Snowflake utilities (e., SnowSQL, SnowPipe) for data ingestion and transformation.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in data engineering with a strong background in Talend Big Data platform.

- Expertise in SQL or PL/SQL.

- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Teradata, Vertica, Snowflake, and Redshift.

- Knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS (S3, Kinesis, DMS).

- Familiarity with Snowflake utilities and the ability to automate data flows using SnowSQL and SnowPipe.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with additional ETL tools or data engineering platforms.

- Certification in AWS or Snowflake is a plus.

- Good understanding of API integrations through Talend
