Assistant Manager - US Commercial Mortgages Domain (8-15 yrs)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee our US Commercial Mortgages team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, a deep understanding of the US commercial mortgage landscape, and the ability to drive operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts/associates handling US commercial mortgage operations.

- Ensure team productivity, quality, and adherence to SLAs and compliance standards.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Operational Oversight:

- Supervise end-to-end processes related to underwriting, loan servicing, and portfolio management.

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.

- Identify and resolve process gaps to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and senior management.

- Provide regular updates on team performance and key operational metrics.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with US mortgage regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

- Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests.

Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and organize skill development programs for the team.

- Stay updated on industry trends and ensure the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of team management experience in the US Commercial Mortgages domain.

- Strong understanding of US commercial mortgage regulations, processes, and industry best practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in mortgage software and tools, along with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data analytics.

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in cross-border mortgage operations.

- Knowledge of underwriting and risk assessment.

- Familiarity with real estate market trends in the US.
