Patient Consultation : Conduct consultations with patients to assess and diagnose rheumatological conditions. Review medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order relevant diagnostic tests. Treatment Planning : Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with rheumatological disorders. Prescribe medications, recommend lifestyle modifications, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care. Procedures : Perform procedures related to rheumatology, such as joint aspirations, injections, and other diagnostic or therapeutic interventions. Education and Counseling : Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Provide counseling on lifestyle factors that can impact rheumatological health. Collaboration : Collaborate with other medical specialists, including orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and internal medicine specialists. Attend multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment plans. Medical Records : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients. Document findings, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations.
