Area Manager should have experience from Eye wear industry only Area Manager will ensure that the sales target of the assigned stores to be achieved min 100% every month. AM should be monitored daily sales performance of each stores and report to Head/Director(Ops). And discuss with team for the improvement.
Responsibilities of an Area Manager:
Sales Target Achievement:
Ensuring that each store under their management meets or exceeds its monthly sales target.
Monitoring daily sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Team Management:
Leading and motivating a team of store managers and sales associates.
Providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
Conducting performance reviews and setting clear performance expectations.
Operational Excellence:
Ensuring that stores adhere to company policies and procedures.
Maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Resolving customer complaints and issues promptly.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels.
Preventing stockouts and overstocks.
Implementing effective inventory control measures.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Staying updated on industry developments and competitor activities.
Reporting and Analysis:
Preparing regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics.
Analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Sharing insights with the head office to inform strategic planning.
Leadership, problem solving. Good knowledge about lens, frames.
Exp.- 6-9yrs of experience from eye wear industry only
CTC- based on experience
Qualification- any graduate and optometrist
