Merchandiser

Role & responsibilities

• Handling & Communication buyers query independently ,
• Knowledge of garment costing
• Sampling & Production Planning with the team
• Responsible for sourcing trims and fabrics required to make the end product.
• Coordinate with vendors to execute timely shipments/sampling.
• Maintain documentation related to vendor communication and transactions.
• Follow up with Embroidery , Printing , Washing Units
• Ensure weekly recap on the status with the production team
• Sending All type of samples for approval to buyers
• Updating all Concerned departments on the confirmed orders

Preferred candidate profile

• An Experience of 3-8 years with any export house
• Preferably from the background of Apparels
• Knowledge about woven & knit fabrics.
• Must have good knowledge of Production, Product Development and Costing
• Should possess good communication skills in English
• Should have strong knowledge in computers
• Should be dynamic and conversant with the functioning of Garment industry.
