Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Ecommerce SEO and Growth Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving traffic, increasing sales, and optimizing product visibility across our ecommerce platforms. You will focus on improving our product rankings, managing onsite optimization, and identifying growth opportunities that enhance the overall performance of our ecommerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ecommerce SEO Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies specifically for ecommerce platforms to increase organic search traffic and sales.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-traffic keywords and optimize product listings, category pages, and ecommerce content.
- Optimize product pages, titles, descriptions, meta tags, and images to improve visibility and drive conversions.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key ecommerce metrics, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.
2. Product Listings Optimization:
- Continuously optimize product pages for better search rankings, conversion rates, and user experience.
- Ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are optimized with relevant keywords to improve discoverability.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to enhance product offerings and align them with search trends.
3. Analytics & Reporting:
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar) to track performance, measure KPIs, and generate actionable insights.
- Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management on SEO and growth metrics.
4. Trend Monitoring & Strategy Adjustments:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging ecommerce strategies to ensure best practices are applied.
- Adjust SEO strategies based on changing market conditions and consumer behavior.
5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure SEO strategies align with overall business objectives and promotions.
- Provide actionable insights to improve product visibility and support sales campaigns.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce SEO, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Proven track record of improving product visibility, organic traffic, and ecommerce sales.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for ecommerce, including keyword research, product optimization, and off-page SEO.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Helium10.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce user behavior and conversion rate optimization principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) for ecommerce growth.
- Knowledge of product feed management and optimization for platforms like Google Shopping or Amazon.
- Experience with tools for conversion rate optimization (e.g., Hotjar, Optimizely, Google Optimize).
