Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Should have experience in GST and should be able to handle GST notices
• Should be able to file GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C
• Should have Excel expertise for analyzing any data
• Should have expertise in finance, Banking, Statutory Compliance, Imports and exports, MIS, Budget etc.
• Should be able to handle compliances related to foreign branches
• Should have experience to Perform financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Should be able to do projections and project profitability reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with state and central tax laws
• Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns.
• Conduct monthly and annual closing of accounts and prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Ensure proper entry and categorization of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, detect discrepancies, and provide actionable recommendations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Bachelors degree in finance & Accounts, or a related field MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
