Plastic Moulding Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION OF PLASTIC MOULDING ENGINEER

• Knowledge of various types of Polymers e.g. PC, PBT, ABS, Derlin, RFL, etc.
• Knowledge to set moulds on fast production basis without compromising quality and give optimum production and finding out vice versa the problems faced by fast production processes.
• Knowledge about processed engineering plastic raw materials.
• Product Development To work on new products and follow up with the raw material of the new product, particularly different types of polymers.
• To take trial of new moulds and after approval start the production of the same.
• Corrective and preventive actions of all moulds in production.
• Regularly follow up of the moulds which are in repairs with the department.
• Check time cycle of moulders, actually charged by them and practically being followed in their productions on the moulding machines.
• Check on grinding material quantity and plan to consume it with some other items in production.
• Design methods of checking process during the moulding process and in coordination problems faced in certain moulds during the assembly of the same.
• Knowledge of testing laboratories services in India of Engineering Plastic materials.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge in computer and Microsoft office is a must .
• Real-time experience of atleast 4-6 years in the same domain is preferred.
• Diploma in Plastic Engineering (DPE) and Graduate Diploma in material managements

(GDMM) preferred.

• Staying in the vicinity between Dadar and Virar is advisable.

Salary package : Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per monthRole & responsibilities
