Senior Executive - Purchase

Job Responsibility:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for RM & PM.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors.
• Ensure timely procurement of quality materials to meet production schedules.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Stay updated on market trends and raw material price fluctuations.
• Prepare cost analysis for RM, PM, and finished goods.
• Work closely with finance and production teams for accurate costing.
• Ensure proper cost allocation and budget control.
• Analyze cost variations and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
• Support product pricing decisions with detailed cost breakdowns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Develop alternative supplier sources for risk mitigation.
• Handle price negotiations and long-term supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Implement best practices for inventory control and stock management.
• Reduce procurement lead time and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Coordinate with quality control teams for material inspection and approvals.
• Should have worked in a sterile injectable plant with experience in procuring RM & PM for sterile manufacturing.
• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, costing, and supply chain.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in costing methodologies and cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
