Job Description

Role & responsibilities :-

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Independently visit and engage with existing clients across India, strengthening relationships and building long-term partnerships.
  • Serve as the sole point of contact for all client-related queries, issues, and product inquiries.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure satisfaction with the products/services.

2. Business Development & Sales Expansion

  • Drive the growth of business by identifying opportunities within the current client base to increase product usage, sales, and business potential.
  • Proactively introduce new products and solutions to existing clients, demonstrating how they align with the clients needs and can enhance their operations.
  • Independently track client purchases, and suggest relevant product upgrades or additional services based on their requirements.

3. Product Demonstrations & Client Education

  • Take responsibility for educating clients on the full range of company products, providing clear product demonstrations and answering technical queries.
  • Stay informed about new product offerings and industry developments to maintain credibility and position as a trusted advisor to clients.

4. Market Intelligence & Strategy Execution

  • Conduct research on the agriculture market in various regions of India to identify emerging trends, client needs, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement personal sales strategies to drive client engagement, product adoption, and business growth in the assigned territory.
  • Analyze client feedback and local market conditions to adapt strategies and meet specific client demands.

5. Sales Tracking & Reporting

  • Manage all aspects of sales activities independently, ensuring accurate tracking of client visits, sales, and potential leads.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and follow-up actions in CRM or reporting tools.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding progress toward sales targets, challenges, and opportunities.

6. Independent Travel & Client Visits

  • Plan and execute regular travel across India, ensuring that all existing clients are visited in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Organize and manage client visits independently, ensuring that all meetings are productive and that client expectations are met or exceeded.

7. Problem Resolution & Customer Support

  • Act as the sole point of contact for client issues, proactively addressing and resolving concerns to maintain client loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Provide timely support and troubleshooting, ensuring that clients experience smooth and seamless transactions.

8. Self-Driven Performance Management

  • Set personal goals and objectives for business growth, sales targets, and client engagement, consistently working towards achieving and exceeding them.
  • Stay disciplined and motivated to manage all aspects of the role independently, maintaining a high level of performance and accountability.

Preferred candidate profile :-

  • Communication: Clear, persuasive verbal and written skills; active listening to understand client needs.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Ability to close deals, identify opportunities, and negotiate effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships with a customer-centric focus.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative solutions to client issues, adaptability to changing needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of agricultural products and trends.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently, organize client visits, and manage schedules efficiently.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to track sales performance and adjust strategies.
  • Self-Motivation: Goal-oriented, resilient, and driven to meet targets.
  • Networking: Build professional relationships and influence clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and basic digital tools for reporting and communication.
  • Languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil
