Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the APM are in the preconstruction phase. Once we have fully approved civil, architectural, structural and MEP drawings, they will be doing the following:
Break down each scope into Scopes of Work ("SOW"). This includes reviewing each scope and understanding it well enough to summarize it in works in a simple manner, so the bidding trade contractors should be able to capture everything in their proposals.
Create bid packages for each trade which includes the:
Relevant plans
SOW
Compile a list of trade contractors in the project market, this is done through Procore bidding, bluebook and google.
Ensure that the correct individual for each bidder received the bid package.
Answer and or process all RFIs and Submittals on Procore.
Follow up with bidders on interest, coordinate site visits and ensure that bid is received by deadline.
Once bids are in, create bid level sheets.
Once bid is awarded, draft contracts and prep exhibits.
During construction the main responsibilities are continuing to process RFIs and submittals as well as change orders.
The 2 most important qualifications needed for this position are deep understanding in civil and architectural plans and its reading and perseverance when it comes to locating and following up with bidding contractors.
That is aside for excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
At least two years of work experience in the construction industry.
Astute in analytical and problem-solving skills.
Structured organization skills, highly resourceful, and dependable.
Driven and motivated with a strong attention to detail.
Shift Timings: US Shift, 6:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST.
Work Setting: Work from Office, 5 days a week
