Job Title: Senior MEP Engineer - Buildings

Domain: Building Services, Plumbing and Firefighting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design planning on basis of basic evaluation and preliminary planning from the client.
• Design, Analysis and Calculations for Plumbing & Firefighting systems for Data centers, Hospitals and Commercial buildings projects.
• Design of Fire extinguishing systems, sanitation networks, Plumbing and Domestic hot water network.
• Design of Process water networks, technical & medical gas networks
• Design of Pneumatic sample transport.
• Review and checking of prepared 3D models and P&IDs.
• Preparation of a reports and documents list (drawings and calculations).
• Approval planning in deep coordination with the client to fulfil the requirements of the authorities.
• Provide Technical Guidance to Junior Engineers and BIM modelers.
• Ensure compliance with IGERs Quality Management Procedures.
• Deliver projects on time and to quality and budget.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical and Plumbing systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and calculating Mechanical and Plumbing systems using Revit MEP for modeling and appropriate calculation tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems. (NBC, NFPA, ASHRAE / ISHRAE)
• Must have experience with projects from Europe or Middle East on Data centers, Hospitals and Commercial buildings projects.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
• Excellent leadership and team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative skills with clients, stakeholders, project management, and design teams
