Job Description
We are looking for design engineers to join our creative team engaged in the development of new products, systems, tools, process etc. As the design engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering duties including designing, researching, analysing, testing and prototyping new products.
The chosen engineer will collaborate with the design (design, analysis and testing) and production teams on our design projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering software to lead the way. In addition to being a good communicator, all candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities: Preparing Engineering plans, technical specifications of products/ systems/subsystems, generating concepts, ideas, 3D CAD models, drawings, bill of materials, analysis (conventional and Computer aided), reports and documents.
Identify solutions to improve production efficiency. Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.
Maintain existing engineering records and designs. Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.
Estimate costs and budgets for new designs. Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs. Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Aeronautical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering.
2 - 4+ years of experience familiar with design engineering are most suitable
Experience in product design or relevant field is desirable.
Good knowledge of engineering materials. Knowledge of Modeling software like CATIA/ NX is essential.
Knowledge in CAE tools like NASTRAN/ Ansys or similar tools is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accurate and strong attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office tools like MS Word, Excel and popular design software are essential
