The Executive/Sr Executive - Internal Audit is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing internal audit activities to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role provides assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes while identifying areas for improvement.

The Executive/Sr Executive Internal Audit collaborates with senior management to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and systems.
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance process reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in business processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
• Lead and mentor the internal audit team, providing guidance and professional development.
• Experience with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and emerging risks.

Experience and qualification required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7years of experience in internal or external auditing/Process reviews.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards (IIA), risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including testing, evaluation, and implementation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
