Technical Coordinator Fresher (Polytechnic Background)

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Technical Coordinator with a strong foundation in embedded systems and electronics, ideally from a polytechnic background. The role involves not only technical development but also coordinating the smooth execution of technical projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective communication between engineering teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in embedded system design, C/C++ programming, IoT technologies, and sensor integration, with a keen interest in both technical development and project coordination. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to align various teams, track progress, and ensure successful product development from concept through to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Design & Development:
• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring smooth transition from concept to production.
• Work closely with software, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate new product designs and validate systems.
• Project Coordination & Management:
• Coordinate and monitor the progress of embedded systems projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and objectives are met.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering teams (software, hardware, electronics) and project management, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Create and maintain project plans, track milestones, and update stakeholders on progress and potential risks.
• Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external vendors, addressing technical requirements and challenges.
• Manage technical meetings, reviews, and status updates, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration Across Teams:
• Facilitate coordination between different technical teams (software, hardware, and mechanical) to ensure successful integration and validation of embedded systems.
• Organize regular cross-functional meetings to track development progress, troubleshoot issues, and address challenges.
• Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that all software and hardware components meet required standards and specifications.
• Technical Leadership:
• Take ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and reliability of the embedded systems being developed.
• Review and guide code development to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers, offering guidance on best practices, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
• Identify and troubleshoot issues within embedded systems, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve challenges in a timely manner.
• Proactively anticipate and mitigate technical risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Ensure all technical documentation is clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, design documents, and technical specifications to stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed records of technical requirements, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
• Continuous Improvement & Learning:
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in embedded systems, IoT, and related fields.

Requirements:

• Polytechnic Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, IoT Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of embedded systems communication protocols and experience with debugging tools.
• Ability to read schematics and understand datasheets for components.
• Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
