Job Description for Content Writer profile:
Responsibilities -
- Communicate and cooperate with the writing team, including the content manager, editors, teammates, etc.
- Produce the well-researched, engaging, plagiarism-free, and grammatically correct content
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
- Proofread and Edit content
- Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas
Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience as a content writer
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a portfolio
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
- An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
- Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication
- Familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
- The ability to consistently meet deadlines
