Rolesand Responsibilities
Equipmentsizing calculation for given Plant Size, specification /data sheet preparation,Bid evaluation, Preparation of control valve and other valves specificationdata sheet.
Preparation of various Pipe sizing calculation and provide inputs to stakeholders.
Design ofprocess equipment s Like Separator, Vessels, Dryer, Heat exchanger etc.
Prepare /Check the manufacturing drawings for the process Equipment s Like Separator,Vessels, Dryer, Heat exchanger etc.
Review ofvarious vendors equipment drawing and provide comments /approval.
Estimation of Mechanical miscellaneous bulk item.
Providingan optimized solution for the Process system/ Equipment.
Vendorcoordination, providing the inputs to other stakeholders FAT formechanical equipment.
Supportfor Commissioning Resolution of field queries.
Preparation Review of PID and Process flow diagram.
CriticalCompetencies for the Job
Must haveknowledge in Mechanical System Sizing calculation for, Gas Separator Skiddesign, Gas pipeline sizing. (Static Equipment design). Having knowledge aboutheat exchanger design, sizing etc.
Hazardousarea classification, PID development, Control valves sizing, Knowhow ofHydrogen Generation Plant, Knowledge of applicable Code Standards System design capability.
Carryingout basic sizing of the Balance of Stack including as per the design practicesfollowed by technology partner.
Detailedengineering of Balance of Stack and providing the technical specification forthe procurement of the related components from reputed vendors.
Exploringcompetent suppliers for the Mechanical, equipment s, and pre-engineering of theproducts suitable for the application, Bid evaluation and optimization. Postorder vendor coordination for engineering, manufacturing, testing and deliveryof equipment to site, installation and performance testing.
Workingclosely with process team, Piping layout other multidiscipline teams.
Desiredtype of Experience
Experience of working in Bid Evaluation, Proposal Engineering, DetailedEngineering, BOQ Estimation, Specification Preparation and System SizingCalculation of Mechanical equipment s like Heat exchangers, Separator Vessels,Pumps, Compressors etc.,
Performing ASME calculations for the pressure vessels/Heat exchangers.
Preparingmechanical data sheets bought out items like Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Heatexchanger etc. Experience of Mechanical data sheet for bought items likeValves, Pumps, Compressors etc. would be an added advantage.
Experience of working in PID, Process flow diagram and thermal systemdesign.
Havingdetailed knowledge understanding of Mechanical Codes Standards(ASME, API, OISD, IS, NFPA. PESO, TEMA etc).
Experience of attending Factory acceptance test of Mechanical equipment likeTanks, Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors etc. Exposure in PG Testactivities of Process Plant / Mechanical equipment.
Experience of Process Engineering Mechanical Packages in Oil GasIndustry, Hydrogen Generation Plant of various technology will be an added advantage.
