Lead Engineer Embedded

YoE 6 - 7 Years of total Experience

Responsibilities

Design, develop/port firmware for Embedded targets (Bare metal, RTOS etc.).

Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, flexible with work timings, attend and contribute to technical discussions.

Interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Review code, design, and other submissions to customer to ensure quality.

Work Experience

Required Skills

Strong skills in C/C++ programming language especially in structures, pointers and linked lists.

Experience with microcontroller architecture (ARM, RISC-V etc.).

Experience in board bring up activity, memory optimization, boot time optimization etc.

Relevant experience in developing and debugging device drivers, bootloaders etc.

Experience with peripheral and protocols experience like UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, CAN, DMA, Ethernet etc.

Solid understanding in RTOS internals (Processes, Threads, Synchronization, Scheduling, Deadlocks, IPC etc.)

Understanding of toolchains and IDEs.

Strong platform porting and debugging skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent documentation skills

Effective communication skills

Desired Skills

Good at reading and understanding hardware reference manuals and board schematics.

Experience with Linux working environment for ARM processors using GNU toolchain.

Good knowledge in Linux Processes, Threads, Synchronization, CPU Scheduling, Deadlocks, IPC, Makefiles etc.

Experience with debugging tools like JTAG, DSO, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer etc.

Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
