Job Title: Lead Construction Manager

Location: Pune

Industry: EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)

Experience: 10 to 13 years

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Monitor and support the execution of multiple construction projects remotely from HO while coordinating with site teams.

Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless construction execution.

Contractor & Vendor Management: Evaluate contractor performance, ensure timely resource allocation, and resolve any issues affecting project progress.

Budget & Cost Control: Review project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize cost control strategies to maintain project profitability.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks in construction execution and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory, safety, and quality standards as per industry best practices.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present periodic progress reports, highlighting key challenges and solutions to senior management.

Process Improvement: Suggest improvements in construction methodologies, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 10-13 years of experience in construction management within the EPC industry.

Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in project execution, construction methodologies, and site coordination.

Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in industrial, power, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects within the EPC sector.

Prior exposure to managing multiple sites remotely from a head office.
