Role & responsibilities

• Messaging MS Exchange & Lync Management.
  
  
  • End to End management of Messaging setup including OS, HyperV, 2000 users, MS lync chat, MDM.
  • Should manage all the operational email domains.
  • Manage, coordinate & perform daily activities of Reliable email setup for 250 users.
  • Daily activities of automated signature software(Exclaimer) & coordination with vendor & internal IT
  • Monitoring, day today activities of email archival setup with parent vendor.
  • Monitoring ,coordination & day today activities of MDM application (Good & Citrix)
  • Manage, monitoring, day today activities & coordination for KEMP Load balancer
  • Manage, monitoring, day today activities & coordination for Email gateway(Ironport)
  • Coordinate with parent vendor for faulty hardware replacement.
  • Manage, coordinate & perform daily activities of SMTP service.
  • Manage , coordination & day today activities of UAT server.
  • Recover Exchange setup for any mishappening or disaster.
  
  
  
  
  Active Directory
  
  
  • End to End monitoring, management of AD setup including OS, 2250 users, 4 domains.
  • Unlocking the locked user accounts
  • Create, modify and delete user groups
  • Grant and revoke a set of privileges to users or user groups
  • Set up user/group policies
  • Addition/deletion/modifications of domain controllers as required; modify configuration of AD to reflect
  changes within the organization (for example new office)
  • Modifications to AD sites, services, and subnets according to organizational requirements
  • Management and monitoring of trust relationships and AD security Monitor and manage replication of AD
  • Management and administration of containers within AD
  • Perform import/export of AD information in line with ad-hoc requirements, for example exports of the Global Address List (GAL)
  • Management of the AD schema, including full impact testing of any applications requiring extensions to the existing schema if any
  • AD Backup administration
  • Monthly Health Checks & Reports
  • Make DNS/DHCP changes including WINS
  • Performance Monitoring and Tuning for Active Directory parameters
  • Periodic disaster recovery tests must be performed with the results provided to the respective authority & the documents needs to be modified as and when required.
  • Group Policy creation, monitoring & management.
  • Any other active directory issues which is not covered above.
  • Shall coordinate with parent vendor for faulty hardware replacement.
  • Manage , coordination & day today activities of UAT server.
  • Recover Active Directory for any mishappening or disaster.
