Contract Specialist

Job Summary:

The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for managing, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts related to real estate development projects. Working remotely as part of the back-office team supporting US-based projects, this role will ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, protect the companys interests, and facilitate smooth business operations. The Contracts Specialist will collaborate closely with project managers, legal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure all contractual agreements are accurately executed and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting and Review:
• Draft, review, and revise contracts related to real estate development projects, including vendor agreements, service contracts, construction contracts, leases, and sales agreements.
• Negotiation and Communication:
• Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring that the companys interests are protected.
• Contract Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure that all contracts adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to contracts.
• Contract Modifications and Amendments:
• Manage contract amendments and modifications as required throughout the course of the project.
• Dispute Resolution and Claims Management:
• Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes by facilitating communication between parties and finding mutually agreeable solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• A certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager - CPCM) is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in contract management or a similar role, with a focus on real estate or construction contracts.
• Experience with commercial real estate contracts, vendor agreements, service contracts, and legal compliance is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working remotely or in a back-office capacity supporting US-based teams is an advantage.
