Mep Bim Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing the Project Execution Plan and setting up BIM teams for respective projects to cater construction team needs. Establish documented processes, procedures and workflows for each project

Basic Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Elec&Communication)

Certification:

Autodesk certification ( CAD and Revit software) ia advantages.

10 yrs+ experience in BIM Coordination position

Job Description:

Coordinate MEP BIM models, ensuring accurate integration with other disciplines.

Perform clash detection using Revit and Navisworks, managing resolution processes.

Ensure compliance of MEP models with project-specific standards and guidelines.

Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design conflicts.

Maintain and manage MEP models throughout the project lifecycle.

Track and control revisions to ensure model accuracy and version control.

Conduct regular quality checks on MEP models to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Organize and lead coordination meetings for MEP systems integration.

Provide technical support to teams on BIM-related software and workflows.

Assist in creating and enforcing BIM standards and protocols for MEP systems.

Facilitate the exchange of project data and information among all stakeholders.

Train and mentor junior BIM team members on MEP modeling and coordination.

Ensure effective communication across multidisciplinary teams for seamless integration.

Manage the delivery of MEP models in alignment with project timelines.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in BIM tools and MEP technologies.

Able to resolve any technical issues on Rivet/BOM Models time-to-time.

Coordinating with MEP Design Engineers on regular basis, and get their technical review done.

Identify trends and business opportunities relating to BIM Evaluate and make recommendations regarding BIM software.
