GCP Data Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing inoovation team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL and GCP, DE. You will work closely with onshore and clients on requirement gathering, unit testing, UAT and deployments.

• Utilize strong knowledge of GCP to architect solutions for our data teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and PySpark to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, leveraging it to optimize data processing workflows.
• Possess basic knowledge of Airflow, Tableau, and cloud migration processes.
• Contribute to the overall project landscape by understanding requirements and providing insights to achieve end-to-end delivery.
• Lead teams effectively, taking ownership of project delivery and ensuring successful outcomes.
• Showcase problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to foster teamwork.

Preferred candidate profile

• overall 4+ years in Data engineering Domain
• Minimum of 3+ years in GCP data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, Bigquery
• Understanding of Big Data tools and concepts including SQL, Spark, Hive, HDFS, and ETL development.
• Good knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
• Proficient in Client Management.
• Experience with PySpark and Airflow is considered a plus
