Job Summary:

- This also involves increasing occupancy rates to maximize the resort's success. The Resort Marketing Manager role is a dynamic position that not only focuses on strategic marketing but also involves adept management of OTA platforms, forging new partnerships, and engaging with the local market for sustained resort success. This person should have experience working in similar hospitality industry. As the Resort Marketing Manager, you will be expected to have a deep understating of the hospitality industry, current marketing trends, and possess strong analytical skills to measure and analyse campaign effectiveness.
- Additional responsibilities include managing events, building relationships with local media and fluency in vernacular languages for effective communication with the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth for Resort.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, sales and food and beverage to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with overall business goals.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, and track and report on the effectiveness of all marketing efforts.
- Efficiently oversee and manage OTA platforms, ensuring optimal presence, attractive offerings, and seamless customer experiences to capture a wider customer base.
- Manage the resort's online presence, including the official website and social media accounts, to ensure consistent branding and engaging content.
- Work closely with marketing team to develop marketing materials and execution.
- Plan and execute events, promotions, and partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive guest attendance.
- Utilize data analysis tools to measure the success of marketing efforts and adjust as needed.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant businesses, influencers, and organizations to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Build relationships with local media and be fluent in vernacular languages for effective communication with the local market.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and bring new ideas and strategies to the table.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
- Marketing to B2B segment. i.e. Groups/Corporates/Travel agents to attract the MICE segment.
- Doing a Comp set analysis of the resort in regular intervals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3- 4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality industry/malls/ entertainment/ airport industry.
- Proven experience in leading a marketing team and developing marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in vernacular languages.
- Proven experience in event management
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
