Application Development: Dotnet engineers design and develop applications using various Dotnet technologies, such as C#, ASPDotnet, Dotnet Core, or Xamarin
They write clean and efficient code, apply object-oriented principles, and use appropriate design patterns to build robust and scalable applications
Requirement Analysis: Dotnet engineers work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts or project managers, to understand and analyze requirements
They participate in requirement gathering sessions, clarify technical aspects of the requirements, and provide input on the feasibility and technical implementation options
Software Design and Architecture: Dotnet engineers contribute to the software design and architecture of applications
They define the structure of the application, identify components, and design the database schema
They ensure that the software design aligns with best practices, scalability requirements, and maintainability
Code Implementation and Testing: Dotnet engineers write code based on the software design and requirements
They implement functionality, integrate external systems or APIs, and perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality
They also collaborate with quality assurance (QA) teams to address bugs or issues discovered during testing
Database Development and Integration: Dotnet engineers work with databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, to design and develop database schemas, write SQL queries, and optimize database performance
They integrate the application with the database and implement data access layers using technologies like Entity Framework or ADODotnet
Version Control and Collaboration: Dotnet engineers use version control systems, such as Git or Team Foundation Server (TFS), to manage source code and collaborate with other developers
They participate in code reviews, provide feedback to peers, and follow coding standards and best practices
