Job description for Maintenance Administrator

General:

1. The position is Administrator - Maintenance

2. Reporting can be dual - Network Director/Campus head at base location.

3. Base location for these positions will be ICARE, KVC and MTC respectively.

4. This position require travel to the LVPEI centers that are attached to their jurisdiction.

5. Existing biomedical/maintenance staff will be realigned to this position once the incumbent is on-board. Functional and administrative control of these staff will move under this position from the present structure.

Job description:

1. Educational qualification: Electrical engineering/ HVAC engineering/ or equivalent specialization with a minimum education of Diploma in the above streams, with a consistent academic track record. A degree or Diploma in engineering in the specified streams also considered.

2. Post completion of the minimum educational qualification, the incumbent shall have demonstrated a minimum work experience of 10 years in the specified areas of skills, without any break in between for more than a period of 6 months.

3. Demonstrated hands on skills in the areas of Electrical, Plumbing, AC, Fire, STP, Compressors, Lift, CSSD, RO plant, Solar, any other mechanical/electrical equipment like water filters etc, operations and maintenance.

4. Experience in healthcare sector is desirable but not mandatory if the candidate is exemplary in the domains specified above.

5. Apart from the Engineering and Technical skills, the incumbent shall have an acumen to continuously upgrade the domain knowledge and proven their contributions in applying their skills on these measures adopted in their previous jobs including their proactive measures that are taken by them in their role.

6. Good leadership skills, computer skills and soft skills, viz., Communication, Behavioral and Learning abilities

7. Proven ability to handhold the team, train, guide and upskill/reskill the resources in their areas of work.
