Job Description
- Develop Traffic Management System, traffic Rules and Regulations for the project and monitor its implementation and compliance.
- Attend management meetings and provide input to improve traffic management systems.
- Organise & report findings from monitoring and measurement activities such as weekly site inspections.
- Responsible for traffic control near major diversions by deploying traffic marshals.
- Conducting traffic survey with section in-charges, concerned engineers and SHEM before major diversions.
- Preparing traffic diversion plans and updates as on when required
- Planning & conducting training programs for staff and departmental workmen on traffic management.
- Installation and maintenance of traffic signage wherever necessary.
- Investigate any accident and / or dangerous Occurrence, happened during material transportation, which occurs on access road or formation.
- Procuring all the necessary materials required like traffic cones, water barriers, signage etc. for safe traffic movement.
- Organising awareness programs for local public who are affected by our traffic diversion.
