Senior Design Engineer - Naval Architect

- Design / work experience in marine industry with understanding of structures design codes / norms, strength calculations, hydrodynamics and hydrostatic calculations and use of 3D CAD design tools.

- Proficiency in Ansys preferred.

-Proficiency in MS office and Autocad is essential.

-Knowledge/ experience of working in 3D CAD-PLM environment is preferable.

-Strong technical & communication skills.

-Shall possess adequate communication skills for interacting with different groups, Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving & Creativity.

-Should have the experience of handling a team of engineers.

-Technical Knowledge about Marine Structures, strength calculations, hydrodynamics and hydrostatic calculations. Understanding of structures design codes / norms.

- Prepare design documents for underwater platform under the guidance of Naval officers.

-Shall be working with a team of Design engineers, and CAD assistants, under Naval design officers and Team Leaders.

Broad responsibilities: - Preparation of Structural documents, Calculation documents for Submarine, Management of design data and workflows towards finalization of design in CAD-PLM environment.
