Job description:
Reviewing Proposals / ITB s, preparing contract deviations and managing negotiations for new opportunities (which includes reviewing Contract terms and conditions, pricing/payment schedules, scope of work, project procedures and execution schedules on lump sum, unit rate and reimbursable contract models) for projects
Advising, reviewing and negotiating project related MOU, Consortium, Joint Venture and Shareholder Agreements.
Advising on Projects in varying jurisdictions, working with, and understanding foreign governing/applicable law, including facilitating, understanding and applying specialized legal advice from such jurisdictions.
Draft correspondence and legal documents, clauses, notices, agreements
Advising on and review of Parent Company Guarantees and project finance documentation.
Supporting preparation, negotiations and implementation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
Assisting/advising in preparation of Change Orders, Extensions of Time and Claims raised by Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors and LTHE.
Reviewing and negotiating Secrecy Agreements and Interoffice Agreements.
Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal provisions, legal principles, case laws
Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems
Ensuring project contracts are consistent with the LTHE project objectives and LTHE policies whilst avoiding onerous liabilities.
Assisting in handling arbitrations and litigations,
Liaising with external lawyers and business team.
Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility Maintain current knowledge for changes in legislations, precedents laid down by the courts and overall legal environment.
