Job Description
Minimum 15 years of experience along with 08 years of experience in TBM construction project and 05 years of minimum experience in similar position. Atleast having experience of executing Rock TBM Tunnelling of minimum 4.5km length through single Tunnel having minimum finished inner diameter of 7.0m"
A TBM support system engineer from an electrical background with a minimum of 8 years of experience should ideally have the following technical qualifications and skills:
- Electrical Engineering Degree : A bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field is typically required.
- TBM System Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of TBM electrical systems, including control systems, motors, sensors, and communication systems.
- Experience with TBM Operation : Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining TBMs, including troubleshooting electrical issues that may arise during operation.
- Material Procurement and Handling Skills : Ability to procure electrical materials required for TBM operation, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of materials to the worksite.
- Maintenance and Repair Skills : Proficiency in conducting electrical maintenance and repair tasks on TBMs, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Safety Compliance : Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during TBM operation.
- Team Management : Ability to lead a team of technicians and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth TBM operation.
- Communication Skills : Good communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and project managers effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues that may arise during TBM operation.
- Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Computer Skills : Proficiency in using computer software for TBM operation, maintenance, and data analysis.
