Quality Assurance Analyst - Manual/Automation Testing (4-6 yrs)

Note - This is a contractual role, 6 months - 1 Yrs.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. The QA Analyst will ensure the quality and functionality of our applications, providing critical feedback for improvements.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with technical expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and collaborative software development environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality software releases.

- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.

- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools like Jira.

- Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Perform data validation and verification by writing basic SQL queries.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that test coverage is comprehensive.

- Report and document testing activities, including test results, test case coverage, and performance baselines.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing techniques.

- Familiarity with test automation tools (i.e., Selenium, QTP, TestComplete).

- Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools (i.e., Jira, TestRail).

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and writing basic queries.

- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation testing.

- Strong understanding of web and mobile application testing.

- Experience in API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Certification in QA (i.e., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

- Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is desirable.
