Key Responsibilities:

• Linux System Administration:

○ Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) across development, staging,

and production environments.

○ Perform system installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades.

○ Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Web and Application Server Management:

○ Configure and administer Apache2, Nginx, and Tomcat web servers.

○ Deploy and manage Python, PHP and Java-based applications, including database

connectivity (MySQL, MSSQL).

○ Implement and manage VirtualHosts for multi-application environments.

• CI/CD and Automation:

○ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

○ Develop and manage Jenkins file scripts for automated deployments.

○ Utilize Bash scripting for system automation and management tasks.

• Containerization and Orchestration:

○ Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Swarm.

• Monitoring and Performance Tuning:

○ Implement and manage monitoring tools (Zabbix, Site24x7, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure

system health and performance.

○ Conduct performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.

• Security and Code Quality:

○ Implement and maintain security best practices.

○ Integrate and utilize code quality tools (SonarQube) and security scanning tools (Snyk).

• Networking and Security:

○ Possess a strong understanding of networking principles, and implement security best

practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
• Hands-on experience with Apache2, Nginx, Tomcat, Python, PHP, MySQL, and MSSQL.
• Proficiency in configuring Virtual Hosts.
• Experience with Java application deployment on Tomcat.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and Jenkins file scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm.
• Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools (SonarQube, Snyk).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Site24x7, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong Bash scripting skills.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance tuning.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
