Power Electronics Engineer

Reports to : HEAD -Engineering

Positions overall objective: Project engineering in Power electronics domain, mainly rectifiers, converters.

Primary responsibility:

1.Design of medium,high powers rectifier ( in hundreds of kW).

2.Prepare design/BOM/Schematic drawings.

3.Guide CAD engineer about electrical layout & enclosure designs.

4.Make improvement in product as per guidelines given by BU head , Engineering head , R&D & Product manager , QA & CS team.

5. Provide technical support & RMC for Enquiry

6. Product standardization.

7.The Root cause analysis, failure analysis of NCR.

8.ISO Documentation.

9.Knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8.Select

10.Knowledge of DC-DC and AC-AC components

Authorities :

1. Make designs, build prototypes, release list of materials needed for projects.

2. To take decision for getting on time delivery and product quality.

• Work activities :
  Study of specifications for the projects to be deliver.
• Planning of activities involved in the project and carry out in defined timelines.
• Design and development, selection of components
• Making Bill of material and intimate product cost
• Building of prototype , wiring schematic, knowledge of Autocad / Solidworks
• Design Routine and type test report.
• Coordination with various teams & depts in the organization

Education

• BE Electrical or Power Electronics or industrial electronics.

Experience

• Minimum 3/4 years in Power Electronics
