Inspect Materials and Finished Products: Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Use Measurement Tools: Utilize various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other devices to measure dimensions, weight, and other product characteristics.
Document Inspection Results: Record inspection results, noting any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications in inspection logs and reports.
Report Quality Issues: Identify quality issues, report findings to the production team, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to address and resolve problems.
Maintain Compliance: Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, safety standards).
Assist in Root Cause Analysis: Help identify the root causes of quality issues, and support the implementation of corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Monitor Production Quality: Continuously monitor the production line to ensure consistency in quality, identifying any trends or potential risks in product quality.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from specifications.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
