The Role

We are hiring HEAD LEGAL for a leading conglomerate company in India.

Experience: 20+ years

Location: Mumbai (on-site)

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E with LLB

Roles & Responsibilities:

Overseeing careful drafting, negotiating & concluding contracts for EPC Projects, JV agreements. During the course of execution of project, support contract administration, Risk management, claims management and any other commercial area that requires strengthening for smooth execution.
Adept at designing due diligence questionnaire to assess partners, understand statutory requirement, sharing of risk, contingency management, insurance and alternative risk transfers / ideas.
Responsible to lead litigation, arbitration, and any other infringements.
Familiarity with Social Media platforms for legal and contract management will be an added advantage.
Preference for digitally advanced systems, to simplify & standardize contracting processes, review mechanisms and the use of analytical skills to improve negotiations for commercial benefits to the organization will be an essential skill.
Project business is heavily dependent on time and costs elements and this positional essentially advises the businesses with export opinion and legal prudence to position vis- -vis clients, further creating long term relationships.
The person in-charge should be able to win discussions, without damaging long standing relationships.

Ideal Profile

Ideal Candidate:

The interested professional should have 20+ years of experience in oil &gas or EPC industry in litigation, arbitration, legal management, EPC contracts and contract management.

Skills:

Industry Experience with exposure of EPC Contracts and claim situations will be essential. International experience especially in Middle East & Western Europe is preferred.

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E with LLB
