Kodo Technologies - Senior Test Automation Engineer - Java/Kotlin (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive test automation framework for web applications.

- Utilize Selenium WebDriver to automate browser interactions and test cases.

- Possess strong expertise in at least one programming language (Kotlin or Java) for test automation scripting.

- Guide and mentor developers on best practices for unit and integration testing.

- Advocate for and implement behavior-driven development (BDD) principles.

- Contribute to service virtualization efforts to isolate and test application components effectively (1+ years of experience preferred).

- Automate build and deployment processes to streamline the software development lifecycle.

- Identify and prioritize test cases based on impact, component, likelihood of occurrence, and other relevant factors.

- Apply analytical and logical thinking to discover edge cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Organize test specifications in a clear and maintainable manner, considering factors like impact, component, and likelihood.

- Collaborate with product managers to define clear and testable acceptance criteria for user stories.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- 3+ years of experience in test automation methodologies and tools.

- In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Kotlin or Java) for scripting test automation frameworks.

- Strong understanding of unit testing and integration testing concepts.

- Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) principles (a plus).

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Familiarity with service virtualization tools (e.g , Mockito, WireMock).

- Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g , JBehave, Cucumber).

- Knowledge of the Serenity BDD framework (a plus)
