Education : Bachelors or M aster s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Based on design requirements and project specifications, select appropriate electronic components (eg, microcontrollers, sensors, and power management ICs).
- Develop and optimize schematic designs for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware and PCB design engineers, to ensure seamless integration of components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate component selection and schematic designs.
- Ensure designs comply with safety standards (eg, IEC 61010-1) and certification requirements (eg, MCERTS, cULus).
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BOMs, design calculations, and schematic diagrams.
- Support the design verification process by working closely with testing and QA teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in electronic component selection and schematic design for embedded systems.
- Proficiency with schematic capture tools (eg, Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with power management, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
