OT Network Transition Specialist

We are seeking an OT Network Transition Specialist with expertise in Phoenix Contact OT switches to support a critical transition project. The resource will be responsible for technical transition, operational support, and knowledge transfer to our internal team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in OT networking, industrial Ethernet, and network security in an operational technology (OT) environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in OT networking, industrial Ethernet, and switch configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Phoenix Contact FL SWITCH models (e.g., FL NAT 2304-2GC-2SFP, FL SWITCH 2216, FL SWITCH EP7428R-L3F1, etc.).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, RSTP, IGMP, QoS, SNMP, etc.).
• Experience in SCADA/DCS/PLC environments and integrating network devices in industrial automation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT networks (firewall rules, access control, network segmentation).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and diagnostic software for troubleshooting network issues.
• Excellent documentation, training, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CCNA (Industrial), ISA/IEC 62443, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Experience working in manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus TCP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
