The Accounts & Finance Manager at Kidzonia International Preschools will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, including MIS reporting, compliance, budgeting, financial forecasting, and projections . This role demands a strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and deep expertise in tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial strategy to support the organizationgrowth. The candidate must have experience handling multiple branches/accounts and be able to align financial planning with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for all Kidzonia centers and the Head Office.
  • Prepare financial forecasts & projections to support business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Analyze financial performance and present insights for cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to meet financial targets.
  • Monitor working capital and ensure efficient cash flow management .
    2. MIS & Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports to senior management.
    • Develop customized financial dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Generate Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Variance Reports.
    • Analyze trends and prepare reports for decision-making at the corporate and operational levels .
      3. Compliance, Taxation & Regulatory Filings
      • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements .
      • Handle tax planning and optimization to maximize benefits and minimize liabilities.
      • Manage timely filing of GST returns, TDS payments, and annual income tax returns .
      • Ensure adherence to RBI, Companies Act, and other financial regulations applicable to preschools.
      • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities for assessments and audits.
        4. Accounting Operations & Internal Controls
        • Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations .
        • Ensure accurate and timely finalization of accounts and statutory reporting.
        • Implement and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and risk management measures .
        • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to maintain financial stability.
        • Manage petty cash control, expense approvals, and cost allocation across branches.
          5. Audits & Risk Management
          • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and compliance audits.
          • Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and accurately maintained .
          • Identify and mitigate financial risks, fraud, and inefficiencies in financial operations.
            6. Cost Optimization & Expense Management
            • Analyze expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability.
            • Implement expense tracking systems for better financial control.
            • Monitor vendor payments and negotiate better pricing terms for services & procurements .
              7. Payroll & Employee Benefits Management
              • Oversee salary processing, PF, ESIC, and employee reimbursements .
              • Ensure TDS deduction, professional tax filing, and compliance with labor laws .
              • Work with HR to ensure payroll accuracy, bonus payments, and incentives processing .
                8. Business Expansion & Financial Strategy
                • Support the business expansion plan by providing financial feasibility analysis.
                • Assist in decision-making related to new preschool openings, property acquisitions, and investments .
                • Develop financial models to assess ROI, break-even analysis, and center profitability .
                • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors for funding & credit facilities.


                  Requirements Key Skills & Competencies:
                  Technical & Financial Expertise:

                  \u2714 Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (IND AS), GAAP, and Financial Management .
                  \u2714 Proficiency in Tally, ERP, Excel, and financial modeling tools .
                  \u2714 Expertise in MIS reporting, financial projections, budgeting, and variance analysis .
                  \u2714 Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances .
                  \u2714 Familiarity with school/preschool finance operations is a plus.

                  Analytical & Strategic Thinking:

                  \u2714 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize financial performance.
                  \u2714 Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present meaningful financial insights .
                  \u2714 Experience in financial decision-making, investment planning, and business forecasting .

                  Leadership & Team Management:

                  \u2714 Strong leadership skills to manage a finance team & drive accountability .
                  \u2714 Experience in coordinating with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities .
                  \u2714 Ability to train, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team .

                  Communication & Stakeholder Management:

                  \u2714 Excellent verbal and written communication skills for financial reporting and presentations.
                  \u2714 Ability to communicate financial insights effectively with senior management and stakeholders .
                  \u2714 Strong negotiation skills for vendor management, banking relationships, and investor communication .

                  Qualifications & Experience:

                  • Education:
                    • CA / ICWA / MBA in Finance (Preferred) OR
                    • M.Com / B.Com with strong financial management experience .
                    • Experience:
                      • 8-10 years of experience in finance & accounts, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role .
                      • Prior experience in Education, Preschool, or Service Industry will be an advantage.
