Power Platform Architect

Hands-on, senior-level Power Platform Architect who can lead the end-to-end design and development of a large-scale BI/reporting transformation. The role involves converting SAP BO/BEx Queries and SAP HANA data models into robust Power BI solutions, as well as potentially leveraging other Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate).

Key Responsibilities:

•   Architect & Design: Lead solution design/architecture for Power BI reports and dashboards based on SAP HANA, SAP BEx queries, and SAP BO/BW data sources.
•   Data Modeling & Integration: Develop high-performing data models, transform data, and optimize queries within Power BI.
•   Platform Expertise: Provide guidance on Power Platform best practices (Power Apps, Power Automate) and how they can integrate with BI solutions.
•   Performance & Governance: Establish standards for data governance, security (e.g., row-level security), performance tuning, and deployment methodologies.
•   Collaboration: Partner with functional and technical teams (including offshore/onshore Power BI developers) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•   Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of Power BI developers to ensure consistent architecture, coding standards, and quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

•   10+ years of overall experience in BI/Data Analytics/Reporting.
•   5+ years of hands-on Power BI development and architecture (DAX, data modeling, visualization, optimization).
•   Solid understanding of SAP BEx Queries, SAP HANA, and related SAP data warehouse concepts.
•   Demonstrated ability to define enterprise-scale architecture involving multiple data sources, especially SAP.
•   Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
•   Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders
