L2-IT Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management:

• Monitor and maintain the plants IT systems, including servers, networks, and hardware.
• Ensure the availability and performance of IT systems critical to operations.

2. User Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide Level 2 technical support for Desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware. As well M365, Entra exchange and Teams application support.
• Resolve escalated issues from Level 1 support, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Assist users with software and hardware-related issues.

3. Cloud Management

• Manage and Monitor cloud services
• Configure and maintain Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and security groups
• Support identity and access management through Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for secure authentication and authorization.

4. SAP and Enterprise Software Support:

• Coordinate with the SAP BASIS and other teams for issue resolution.
• Assist in SAP-related troubleshooting when required.

5. Network and Security Management:

• Configure and maintain network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure IT security compliance and manage endpoint protection.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and changes in the IT environment.
• Prepare periodic reports for IT management.

7. Collaboration and Vendor Management:

• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee installation and setup of IT equipment at the plant.
