- The Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving client success at Ken Research.
- This position demands a strategic and client-centric approach, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality research deliverables, including syndicated reports, custom research projects, and Go-to-Market (GTM) pieces.
- The Consultant will lead and mentor a team of research professionals, foster strong client relationships, and actively contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of Research Associates, Research Analysts, Research Analyst - II, and Senior Research Analysts (SRA).
- Guide team members on research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and report writing best practices.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Client Relationship Management:
- Conduct proactive client meetings and presentations to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Proactively identify and address client concerns and challenges.
Business Development:
- Develop and prepare compelling client proposals and tenders for government bodies.
- Actively pitch research projects to prospective clients and pursue repeat business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of new business strategies and market penetration plans.
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of client projects from inception to completion, including project kick-off meetings, data collection, analysis, and report delivery.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Skill Development & Training:
- Identify and address the training needs of team members.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Recruitment:
- Participate in the hiring process by scheduling interviews and evaluating potential candidates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a consulting or research role within a reputable organization, preferably from Big 4 companies or a leading management consulting firm.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in client interaction and relationship management.
- Strong team leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Finance, or a related field
