Job Description
1 To ensure the 5S & Safety in the respective area.
2 To ensure the quality of each forging tool before loading on Hammer / Forging Press through Die/Lead inspection as per the Die Inspection Test Plan & submission of Die inspection report to QAD Section.
3 To record job / breakdown intimations from other departments to Tool Room.
4 To design gauges / fixtures & tools.
5 To ensure the proper implementation of the action plan against any problem.
6 To ensure the calibration of all the instruments & Gauges available in Tool Room as per the calibration plan displayed.
7 To implement & maintain the proper documentation (Die inspection reports, Die Inspection Test Plans, Die History Sheet etc.) as per requirements of IAFT 16949:2016.
8 To ensure that process related documents like Work Instructions, Calibration plan of IMTE &preventive maintenance of machines are properly displayed and adhered.
9 To give at least one suggestion in a month to optimize the use of consumables, electricity & raw material by doing VE (Value Engineering).
