Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 2-4 years of experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Monitor and track expenses to ensure compliance with budgets and financial forecasts.
• Help with the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in year-end audits and support auditors in their review process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and experience in using them.
• Previous experience with auditing and tax preparation.
