Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the tools,processes, and infrastructure needed to support our software development and deployment pipelines
- This role requires a strong background in software development, system administration,and automation, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills
DevOps Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration andcontinuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize thedevelopment process and improve efficiency.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) usingtools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensurereliability, availability, and performance.
- Implement security best practices throughout thedevelopment and deployment lifecycle.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirementsand provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies inDevOps and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Qualifications for DevOps Engineer:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, orrelated field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in languages likePython, Ruby, or Bash.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration toolssuch as Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, orGoogle Cloud.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools likePrometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications for DevOps Engineer:
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWSCertified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools likeTerraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributedsystems.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
