Solidworks Designer

Position: Kitchen Equipment Designer (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the project management team to plan and design commercial kitchen layouts and equipment configurations according to client specifications and industry standards.

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

- Prepare technical drawings and documentation for the fabrication of stainless steel kitchen equipment, including ranges, tables, hoods, and other custom components.

- Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure designs are manufacturable and align with production capabilities.

- Review and modify designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers.

- Assist in project site surveys and collaborate with other departments, such as electrical and plumbing, to ensure all kitchen components integrate seamlessly.

- Provide technical support throughout the design and execution phase, ensuring adherence to local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

- Maintain and update design documentation and standards for future reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.

- Experience in SolidWorks is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of stainless steel fabrication and commercial kitchen equipment design.

- A background in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.

- Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Knowledge of industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations related to commercial kitchen design is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry or related manufacturing sectors.

- Experience in project coordination and execution of large-scale commercial kitchen installations.
