Job Description
Job Type : Full-Time
Reports to : Developer Team Lead
We are seeking a talented Acumatica Developer – Products and Services to play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Acumatica ERP ecosystem. The role will focus on enhancing product functionality and creating service-oriented customizations that align with client-specific workflows. You’ll build scalable, high-performance solutions that support both internal products and client services.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Service Customization:
- Develop customizations in Acumatica ERP to enhance product functionality while addressing unique service requirements.
- Utilize Acumatica Framework, C#, .NET, and SQL to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions.
Modular Development:
- Design modular customizations and integrations to ensure consistency across product features and service deliverables.
- Build reusable components for streamlined development.
Client-Specific Solutions:
- Collaborate with service delivery teams to design client-specific customizations, from workflows to custom reports and dashboards.
- Ensure all solutions meet technical, functional, and business requirements.
Integration with Products & External Systems:
- Develop and maintain integrations between Acumatica ERP and third-party systems, such as CRMs, eCommerce platforms, and external applications.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between client services and product features.
Workflow Automation for Services:
- Implement workflows that automate critical business processes, improving operational efficiency within client-specific environments.
Collaboration with Product and Services Teams:
- Work closely with product managers and service teams to align development efforts with product roadmaps and client project needs.
- Act as a technical consultant, bridging product and service requirements.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
- Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Ongoing Support for Products & Services:
- Provide post-deployment technical support for Acumatica products and service customizations, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently, minimizing disruption to clients.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of Acumatica development experience, with a focus on both product and service solutions.
Required:
- Proven experience as an Acumatica Developer or with a similar ERP system.
- Proficiency in Acumatica Framework, C#, .NET, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of ERP workflows, business processes, and customizations.
- Experience in creating APIs, web services, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred :
- Acumatica Developer Certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices.
- Experience with other ERP systems or cloud-based software solutions.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
